Welcome to Brew Mobile Commander official site. This program is for controlling BenQ-Siemens phones such as SXG75, EF81, SL91 and many other with Qualcomm chipset and BREW support.
Brew Mobile Commander is freeware, you may use it and have to spread it without any payments. However if you want to support this program, you may donate thru PayPal or just send a picture postcard. See "Support" section
Please if you could translate the English phrases in your LNG file and send it to me, it would be great :). Thx
If you want to know something more than it is in FAQ, just ask on my forum! I might add your question to FAQ so everybody else can find the answer!
TBrew, which is a BMC's brew core, can be now downloaded in forum as opensource. Link
BETA 3 is out. You may find all changes in HELP file. There are more changes in scripting system
BETA3 available in download section
PS: could anyone who is capable make a new icon for the .BMS files? It should look the same as the icon used now, just instead of "BMC" should be "BMS". I guess it is easy, but Im not that skilled when it comes to graphics. Thx
Im thinking about making part of the BMC source code an OpenSource - at least the Brew unit, which controls copying, deleting and stuff. It is written in Delphi Pascal. Would there be anyone interested? If you are, send me an email.
If there was anyone seriously interested in continuing in BMC develompment, I could provide him with entire source code. Just note that except for the Brew unit, I never wrote any comments, so it WILL be difficult for anyone trying to understand it ;)
Edit> I thought twice about releasing BMC source code, I probably wont do that. Im still thinking about making Brew code OpenSource, as it is the most important part
As you can see, I dont pay much attention to BMC anymore. It is because I am focusing on new projects and I dont have that time for BMC. Another thing is that my SXG75 is getting old (more importantly, battery is) and I want to buy a new phone.
I will try to make BMC as stable as possible, maybe add some new features, have the remaining phrases translated and publish v2.0 final and shut down the project. New versions will be only published in case of serious errors, but no new features will be implemented.
But as I implemented Pascal-Scripting support, you will be able to write your own scripts and therefore partially enhance BMC further. If you send me these scripts, I will be glad to publish them on this site, with the name of the author of course.
Final 2.0 version will be till the end of October
From now on, I am gonna publish latest builds in forum, for sooner bug fixes and pre-release function testing. Available here
Latest BETA version of BMC 2.0 is available for download in download section. If you have an older version, you have to options - overwrite it or save it somewhere else. If you overwrite previous version, then the BMC Convertor will copy all settings (such as custom directories, shortcuts etc). If you save it elsewhere, you will have access to most of your settings stored in registers (again, after you copy them with BMC Convertor) except for the files saved in currect BMC location.

All previous BMC versions contain a critical error in deleting your addressbook entries. I am yet unsure how to fix is, so meanwhile do not use this function. Sorry for inconvenience
